  2. The story of Legacy Indoor Cycling is an intriguing one that starts with its’ passionate and founding owner. Andy Drak, husband, father, and full-time financial planner at TD, some how found the time to open up his studio so he could enable others into reaping the healthy and rewarding benefits that manifest by adopting a non-seditary lifestyle. A former daily participant in group ex classes, Andy elected to take the next step by instructing. Shortly after, Andy opened up Legacy where he was assisted hundreds of people in getting certified to teach SPIN, TRX, YOGA etc. A business yes, but more a place where people better themselves – physically, mentally and physiologically. The studio has a “small town” feel to it, where people are respected with dignity and grace. Relaxed atmosphere, suitable for almost anyone. Includes ladies only classes and the option to rent the studio. HIGHLY recommended. John Min – Instructor; LA Fitness, Glendon College, Fitness Connection, Fitness Institute, Mayfair Clubs

  3. Legacy is changing my life! I am so happy I discovered this gem of a gym (thanks to Heather Wright)! I’ve been to many gyms over the years and none compare to Legacy. Andy takes a personal, and genuine, interest in every member and that is a huge motivational tool to push you towards your goals. I have been a member for mere months, but am already almost 20 lbs lighter than when I started. I’ve done the work myself, but Andy has made sure I’m enjoying the work that needs to be done.
All of the instructors are fantastic and personable as well. Whether it’s through personal training (also awesome!) or spinning, or any of the other great services they offer, Legacy will definitely enhance your life.

  4. I used to spin YEARS ago, and after I had 2 kids, I was finding it difficult to lose the ‘baby weight’. I happened upon a Groupon for Legacy. It was close to my house, and I remembered getting a good workout from spinning before, so I thought I’d check it out. With regular visits over only 4-6 months, I had lost all of the extra weight, and also toned up and gained strength from the bootcamps (an added bonus to my spins!). I’ve also started running again, and I’ve completed a 10 km race (with a personal best time), and I’m now training for a 1/2 marathon for the Fall. With the amazing support, and the incredible enthusiasm of the instructors, and with the family feel of the other members at Legacy, I have always had the motivation, and drive to continue to train to my best ability. Legacy rocks! šŸ™‚

  5. Legacy is a gem hidden in the City of Toronto. The information and classes offered at this studio brings out the best in you. The group atmosphere is very positive and the vibes from the participants are amazing.
Bonus: When you can’t attend a class it feels like someone has taken away something special from you šŸ˜€

  6. Legacy is a terrific gym — every spin instructor is great, and each one puts a little bit of a different “spin” on the workout — so I find there is a lot of variety even though I’m there four or five times a week. They’ve also been great at helping me modify boot camp while I recover from minor surgery…and for the first time, I’m doing personal training. Very welcoming, very knowledgeable. And fun.

The trainers at legacy are the best EVER!!!! They really care about me reaching my goals and make sure to keep me on track. The environment is full of great instructors who keep me motivated. Everyone is friendly and ALWAYS smiling. The vaiety of classes along with the spinnning and running keeps it interesting. If you want to change your body join the Legacy family

  8. I joined Legacy on the recommendation of my physiotherapist. Iā€™m not the gym type. However, Legacy made getting in shape fun and easy. My knees are much better and in the process I dropped more than 60 pounds.

  9. A year ago(ish), I was feeling very sore, tired and out of shape. I had seen a few doctors about the pain I was having and there were no real answers. Tried a local gym and wasn’t really motivated to continue.

I had driven by Legacy almost daily and thought I’d go in for a few pay-as-you-go classes to see what it was about. The workout was so intense that I was sore for days and I kept going back for more. In a few months my shape changed dramatically and the pain I was having disappeared. A few more months passed and I was training for then running a 10k (a shock to anyone who know me) with some new friends from Legacy.

Now I’m averaging 4 mornings a week, feeling and looking better that I have in years. My wife is now also a member and loving it. Legacy is a part of our lives and our routines. Thank-you Andy, Annette and everyone else who is so supportive and encouraging. Amazing trainers, amazing members and amazing classes.

  12. I joined Legacy in March 2012 and love it. I have never had an endorphin high like this before! I LOOK FORWARD to going to the 6:30am classes! Great instructors, great people. I have never felt intimidated – I can work at my own pace and feel good about myself, and extremely happy when I can keep up with the “seasoned” spinners!

  17. If you’re a runner, take heed.

What started off in 2010 as a substitute for running while injured has now become a regular cross-training activity that helps me PREVENToveruse injuries. In December 2011, I trained for a difficult 10.8 km road race on the Niagara Escarpment without running a single set of hill repetitions. All the hill work was done on a Schwinn bike at Legacy. The result? I ran a personal best on that course and placed third in my age group.

So saddle up at Legacy, my running friends and experience new challenges, fantastic people and real results.
