5 reviews of “Wynn Fitness Clubs

  1. When Yonge Street Fitness Club closed overnight without warning (and a day after charging everyone’s monthly fees) they transferred everyone’s contracts to Wynn Fitness on the Esplanade, owned by the Wynn Group. Wynn claims that anyone who paid up front for a year of service was not actually transferred, so there’s no way they can refund money. In the meantime they have apparently been charging former YSFC members’ credit cards for January, even if the members had already canceled their memberships. This gym is shiny and nice looking on the surface but I would not trust them with my credit card information.

  2. I am really enjoying my membership here. I have been to a couple of other gyms over the years but I have found this one to be the best. Staff is friendly and helpful, and I really like that the facility is always clean.

  3. Great gym! Love the atmosphere here, I have found the staff and trainers very helpful. I am impressed with the equipment. Every time I have been here the machines are clean and working well. The music can be a little loud but I have purchased a MP3 player of my own and that has resolved the issue!

  4. Originally signed up with a Wagjag and so far everything has been ok. I recently extended my membership for another year. Personal training and nutrition was offered during my initial meeting with a salesperson but I had to decline since it was too expensive. I prefer working out on my own. Fortunately, no one bugged me about it again.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, good location, average equipment, and massage therapy service available.

Cons: Very busy at certain times – especially during lunch hour. Limited floor space.

  5. I have been a member at Wynn Fitness for about 2 months now. I am not an avid “gym goer” so this a big thing for me to join on a membership. I must say, I am happy to report that thus far my experience has been very good. The staff have been friendly. They presented and suggested I buy personal training, but it was not in the budget for me. I figured since I couldn’t afford personal training, I would be left on my own. However, they have a great service and designed and took me on the floor to give me a workout program to follow.
